We are looking for a Second Cook to join our team and become an integral part of our expanding business. The right candidate is a hardworking individual with a positive attitude and committed to teamwork. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain back of house experience and move up to line or prep cook.

Position Overview

  • Full-time, part-time time
  • Days, nights, weekdays, weekends
  • Starting at $18.00/hour

Job Requirements

  • Restaurant experience preferred
  • Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping and moving quickly
  • Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
  • Reliable transportation


  • Set up workstation, restock food items throughout the shift and prep food items
  • Prepare and plate appetizers, salads and desserts in a timely manner, closely following recipes, portion controls and presentation specs
  • Work with front of house to ensure pacing and any special guest requests are met
  • Help maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Maintain dish pit, scraping, rinsing and loading dishes and utensils into dishwasher
  • Unload dishwasher and organize dishes and utensils properly
  • Maintain a clean work area, food prep station and equipment
  • Follow established guidelines for set up and breakdown of meal service
  • Help maintain a safe working environment for all guests and other staff by following sanitation and safety policies
  • Work with other team members, jump in as needed
