Position Overview
- Full-time, part-time time
- Days, nights, weekdays, weekends
- Starting at $18.00/hour
Job Requirements
- Restaurant experience preferred
- Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping and moving quickly
- Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Set up workstation, restock food items throughout the shift and prep food items
- Prepare and plate appetizers, salads and desserts in a timely manner, closely following recipes, portion controls and presentation specs
- Work with front of house to ensure pacing and any special guest requests are met
- Help maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Maintain dish pit, scraping, rinsing and loading dishes and utensils into dishwasher
- Unload dishwasher and organize dishes and utensils properly
- Maintain a clean work area, food prep station and equipment
- Follow established guidelines for set up and breakdown of meal service
- Help maintain a safe working environment for all guests and other staff by following sanitation and safety policies
- Work with other team members, jump in as needed
