Whiteface Mountain
It’s our home hill and a big reason we’re here. We simply want to be close (really close) to this classic East Coast Goliath. Sure, the mountain has a reputation for being tough. It has 87 trails – 1/3 expert rated – and the greatest vertical drop in the east. For us, it’s just tough to leave with it’s:

  • Nearly 300 ski-able acres
  • Double-diamond, hike-to-ski terrain, The Slides
  • Highest lift unloading at 4,386 feet (1,337 m)
  • Two terrain parks and half pipe
  • Glades stashed with snow
  • New Lookout Mountain
  • Show-stopping views
  • Best snow-making team around (when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate)
  • Being just three miles (4.82 km) from the Lodge
