We’re looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team. The right candidate is a friendly, hardworking individual committed to delivering a superior customer experience through attention to detail. Our housekeepers are a valuable member of the team, maintaining our 15 guest rooms to the high standards of cleanliness that our guests have come to expect.
Housekeeping experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
Position Overview
- Part-time, days
- Starting at $17/hour
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Prioritize tasks and work quickly without compromising quality or attention to detail
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Communicate effectively with other employees, as well as guests.
- Kneel to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head to perform cleaning tasks
- Climb stairs to change and clean bunk beds
- Push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Effectively use and update online reservation system
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing guest rooms and bathrooms, washing and changing linens and towels, cleaning
- Follow checklist to ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Lodge standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Alert manager of any damages, deficits or disturbances
- Address reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stock levels of all consumables and replace as appropriate
- Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Perform necessary laundry work
- Assist with maintenance of all outdoor and public spaces, as assigned
